Start with the bone broth. Hot or cold, the collagen concentration reads differently than commercial versions. The Gut Fuel grocery on the third floor is the strongest reason to come back: it is one of the few spots in Bangkok where you can buy prebiotic and probiotic pantry staples alongside the same ingredients you just ate. The cafe extends past the visit.

You step into 102/17 Soi Ronchai 2 and the menu board makes the concept legible immediately. BaanBiome is not a cafe that added a wellness drink as a concession to trends. The premise is specific: baan is Thai for home, biome refers to the living ecosystem of the gut, and the kitchen puts both to work in practice. Every item on the menu is calibrated around supporting digestion, built from an ingredient logic that starts at sourcing. The bone broth comes from pasture-raised duck and beef bones, slow-simmered to concentrate collagen and served hot or cold depending on preference. The kombucha is brewed raw and non-pasteurized, formulated in a non-fizzy, mocktail-style format with no added sugar, and the menu carries kid-friendly variants alongside the full adult range.

Dogs and cats are welcome at the venue. This is not casual accommodation but a stated part of the concept.

The building runs across three floors. The cafe occupies the lower levels. On the third floor, Gut Fuel operates as a specialty grocery stocking organic, prebiotic and probiotic-rich foods and beverages for purchase. The selection is calibrated to the same philosophy that informs the kitchen: whole foods with a verifiable provenance rather than supplement-store generics. If you want to continue what you ordered downstairs at home, this is the practical extension of the visit.
