Bangkok Arena
Khok Faet, Nong Chok, Bangkok 10530
This is Bangkok's high-capacity public sports arena, designed for tournaments and large events rather than drop-in play. Booking requires 14 business days advance notice and runs through the BMA portal. Hourly rates start at 5,000 baht for the facility alone, with electricity, AC, and event services adding up to 23,000 baht per hour. Best for leagues, corporate events, or concert promoters.
Bangkok Arena opened in December 2014 after a compressed construction timeline following the 2011 floods. The 50-rai site sits within the Bangkok Civil Service Training Center in Nong Chok, designed by King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi with lotus flower motifs woven into the five-story stands. The field spans 116 by 132 meters under a 34-meter roof.
You step into a space built for scale. The five-level amphitheater seats 15,000, though the official booking capacity is capped at 12,000 for event management purposes. The indoor floor accommodates futsal, badminton, volleyball, and handball, with court configurations adjusted per sport. Concerts and large-scale gatherings use the full arena footprint.
Booking runs through the BMA's public space platform. You need 14 business days minimum advance notice. The hourly base rate is 5,000 baht for facility access, 6,000 baht for electricity and lighting, 9,000 baht for air conditioning, and 3,000 baht for water and cleanup. A four-hour event with full services costs 92,000 baht. The outdoor aerobics court near Gate 2 offers a smaller 400-square-meter alternative for groups up to 100, with separate pricing.
The venue operates from 5 AM to 8 PM daily. The main hall includes six AED units, accessible restrooms, and ramps throughout. Parking accommodates 10 vehicles for outdoor court bookings, with larger capacity for arena events. Contact the office at 02-548-3924 or bangkokaoffices@gmail.com to initiate the booking process.
Nong Chok sits 30 kilometers east of central Bangkok. No BTS or MRT access. Drive or arrange group transport if you are coming from Sukhumvit or Silom, as the commute takes 45 to 90 minutes depending on traffic.
