Bangkok Golf Club
99 ถนน ติวานนท์ Bang Kadi, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani 12000
Night golf is the draw here. Bangkok Golf Club delivers an accuracy-over-length layout wrapped in convenience: 20 minutes from Don Mueang, fully lit, and open until late. The island greens on the Par 3s separate casual rounds from deliberate ones. If you have time for only one floodlit round in the greater Bangkok area, this is where the infrastructure meets the course quality.
You pull off Tiwanon Road in Pathum Thani and the LED floodlight towers are the first signal. All 18 holes are lit. Bangkok Golf Club opened in December 1993, was acquired by MBK in 2015, and the lighting system was one of the major upgrades that followed, allowing tee times as late as 7:30 PM and turning what was a daylight-only layout into one of the region's few night-golf options.
The course is a Par 72 playing 6,549 yards from the back tees, with water in play on all but three holes. Accuracy carries more weight than distance here. Two of the four Par 3s play to island greens, including the redesigned 5th hole that was added during the MBK ownership period. Hole 9 is the signature: a waterfall-backed Par 3 that earned inclusion in Golf Magazine's "500 Best Golf Holes in the World" list in 2000. The greens are Tiff Eagle grass, cut lower than many Bangkok-area courses, and the result is faster putting speeds and better consistency across the 18 holes. Five sets of tees allow the course to accommodate players from different skill levels without losing strategic interest.
Golf buggies are available. The clubhouse serves food. Wheelchair access runs from the car park through the entrance.
The course sits in Pathum Thani, not Bangkok proper. Factor in 30 to 40 minutes from central Bangkok depending on traffic.
Late afternoon tee times work best if you want to play into the floodlit portion. The temperature drops, the shadows ease on the greens, and the Par 4s feel less punishing under artificial light.
