Dhipaya Insurance Headquarters
1115 Rama III Rd, Chong Nonsi, Yan Nawa, Bangkok 10120
If you need non-life insurance and prefer dealing with an established operator, this is the second-largest player in Thailand. The building has 280 parking spaces and wheelchair access. Go for the institutional stability, not boutique service.
Dhipaya Insurance Public Company Limited has occupied the same Rama III address since its founding on November 9, 1951. The Ministry of Finance became the largest shareholder in 1964, and by 1975 the company was designated a state enterprise. It transitioned to a publicly listed company in 1996 and restructured under Dhipaya Group Holdings in 2020.
The headquarters building rises 28 stories and covers 35,000 square meters. You enter a lobby designed for volume: four passenger lifts, split-type air conditioning, and a ground-floor counter system built to process walk-in claims and policy renewals during weekday business hours. The building maintains 280 parking spaces across a multi-storey car park. Both the entrance and the car park are wheelchair accessible.
Dhipaya writes non-life policies: motor, fire and property, marine and transportation, aviation, and personal accident and health insurance. The company is now the second-largest non-life insurer in Thailand by market share. Most individual customers come for motor insurance; corporate clients use the marine and aviation divisions. The claim process runs through the headquarters call center at +66 2 239 2200 or through the branch network listed on the company website.
The office closes at 4:30 PM and does not open on weekends. If you need to file a claim or collect documents in person, arrive before 4 PM to avoid the counter rush. The building sits 800 meters from BRT Nararam 3 Station, a 10-minute walk south along Rama III Road. Street parking on Rama III is prohibited during peak hours; use the building car park.
