Dream World
Bueng Yitho, Thanyaburi District, Pathum Thani 12130
Dream World earns its place as one of Thailand's most enduring family theme parks by packing genuine variety into a single day out. Snow Town alone tends to be the talking point for first-timers, but the combination of a hanging roller coaster in Adventure Land, river rafting, and live character shows keeps families moving and engaged from the moment the gates open.
Dream World opened on 12 November 1993 in Thanyaburi district, Pathum Thani province, established by the Kitiparaphon family as a purpose-built destination for families seeking a full-day theme park experience within reach of Bangkok. The park spans approximately 25 hectares and is organised into four themed zones: Dream World Plaza, Dream Gardens, Fantasy Land, and Adventure Land, each offering a distinct atmosphere and set of attractions.
Dream World Plaza forms the main entrance area, styled with fantasy-themed architecture reminiscent of classic theme park design and lined with shops and food outlets. Dream Gardens surrounds a central lake near the plaza, providing a calmer, nature-influenced setting that works well for younger visitors or as a rest point between the more active zones. Fantasy Land occupies the central section of the park and offers family-friendly rides and character-themed attractions aimed at a broad age range.
Adventure Land is the largest of the four zones and holds the park's headline rides. A hanging roller coaster sits at the zone's core and delivers one of the park's most talked-about experiences. The Grand Canyon river rafting attraction recreates a canyon landscape and provides a wet, high-energy ride for older children and adults. Other popular rides in the zone include the Viking Ship, Sky Coaster, and Hurricane.
Snow Town is included in the standard admission ticket and offers a climate-controlled winter environment with real snow, ideal for families who want to give younger children their first cold-weather experience without leaving Thailand.
The park is open daily, with Monday to Friday hours running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and extended weekend hours until 6:00 PM. Admission is 1,000 baht for adults and 700 baht for children under 135 cm in height.
Getting to Dream World from central Bangkok is straightforward. BTS Skytrain to Mo Chit Station (N8, Exit 4) connects to a free shuttle bus service provided by the park, which runs directly to the entrance. BMTA bus 188 from Mo Chit or Chatuchak Park station also serves the route. Private taxis and ride-hailing apps are a popular alternative for families travelling together.
