If you only have time for one escape room in Bangkok, this is the right one to choose. The whole bet is on a single cinematic room rather than a roster of many. Every session is private to your group, no mixed parties. Book through Zerva ahead of time. Walk-in pricing is available when slots remain open, but advance booking is the safer route.

The lift opens onto the 13th floor of Piya Place Langsuan and the corridor narrows. You step into Escape Portal carrying nothing but your phone and your team. The next sixty minutes belong to a vanished monk.

The current game is Shadow Zen: The Vanishing Monk, and for now it is the only room here. Two to four players are placed inside a recreated Japanese temple set a century in the past. Monk Nakamura Bonta has disappeared and the only way out is by working through an ancient marketplace, picking up artifacts, reading the room's quieter corners, and assembling what they mean before the clock runs through. The venue's own framing is cinematic and emotion-driven rather than puzzle-only: atmosphere carries as much weight as logic. Language tracks run in English or Thai with no compromise either way. The pace assumes you talk to your teammates. The puzzles assume you read carefully. The room rewards a slow circuit before any rushed move.

Two more rooms are flagged as coming soon, but right now Shadow Zen is what the whole 13th floor exists to host. Sessions stay private to your booked group: the room is yours and nobody else's for the hour. Walk-in rates exist on the rare day a slot opens, though the reservation calendar runs through Zerva and that is the cleaner path.

Payment runs on bank transfer rather than card at the venue, so handle that step before you arrive. The age line is thirteen, with younger guests admitted only when a parent or guardian over 18 plays through with them. The venue tags as family-friendly, with LGBTQ+ and transgender-safe sessions across the calendar.
