Farm to Table, Organic Cafe
179 Atsadang Rd, Wang Burapha Phirom, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200
Farm to Table is one of Bangkok's most credible farm-to-spoon operations, with IFOAM-certified organic produce travelling from its mountainous Phu Chee Fah source directly into the gelato and small-plates menu. The Atsadang Road location in the old city makes it a natural stop when exploring the Rattanakosin area. Lead with the ice cream and stay for the whole-wheat brownies.
Farm to Table, Organic Cafe occupies a compact courtyard space at 179 Atsadang Road in the Wang Burapha Phirom quarter of Phra Nakhon, two minutes on foot from the Pak Khlong Talat flower market and within easy walking distance of the Museum of Siam. The historic Rattanakosin island neighbourhood surrounds the cafe, with Wat Pho a short walk to the west and the Grand Palace quarter directly to the north.
The cafe sources its produce from its own farm in Phu Chee Fah, a mountainous growing region in northern Thailand, supplemented by other certified organic farms. That supply chain is not marketing language here: the operation holds IFOAM (International Foundation for Organic Agriculture) certification, which governs how the produce is grown and handled before it reaches the kitchen. The result is a menu built around ingredients that carry genuine provenance.
Gelato is the headline product and the reason most visitors return. The dozen flavours rotate around unusual base ingredients including pumpkin, potato, carrot, black sesame, and passion fruit, alongside approachable standards like dark chocolate, strawberry, and cookies and cream. A vegan soy milk option extends the range further. A single scoop is priced at 35 baht, making this one of the most affordable quality gelato offerings in central Bangkok. Order with a whole-wheat brownie, an affogato, or a matcha pudding for a more complete set, priced from 80 to 125 baht.
The small savoury menu runs to Japanese-style pork curry, garlic-pepper pork, and a vegetarian substitute, all at 75 baht. Seating is limited to the open-air courtyard, so a short wait is possible during the busier weekend lunch hours. The unhurried pace and the natural shade of the courtyard make that wait part of the experience rather than an obstacle. A second branch operates on Soi Tha Klang for those approaching from the riverside.
