If you shoot film in Bangkok, this is where you bring it. The film handling, the in-house photo studio, and the regular photo walks make it less of a transaction and more of a community room. The LINE send-in service handles your rolls if you cannot get to Charoen Krung. We still say come in person at least once.

Walk down Charoen Krung 32, past the General Post Office, and the storefront for Fotoclub BKK opens onto a film lab that also runs as a studio and gallery. The MRT Blue Line at Hua Lamphong is five minutes back, Exit 4.

The shop opened in 2019 and was co-founded by Jate Pokmangmee, the photographer who runs under the STYLEdeJATE alias. The core business runs straightforward. You drop off your rolls at the counter. The team develops and scans them, then you collect your digital files plus the negatives when the work is done. Film and cameras are stocked at the shop for walk-in purchase. Anything you cannot answer at the counter, the team picks up on LINE at @Fotoclubbkk, which they use for bookings and the send-in service for customers outside the neighborhood. The premises include a photo studio available for portrait sessions on booking. Beyond the lab work, the shop schedules photo walks and workshops throughout the year for Bangkok's film community, and the gallery wall hosts exhibitions from local photographers.

Getting there is easy. Take the MRT Blue Line to Hua Lamphong and walk five minutes from Exit 4. By car, the General Post Office parking lot next door charges 20 baht an hour. The lab keeps the same hours every day: 11 AM to 8 PM.

Walk-ins are welcome during open hours. If you are coming for a portrait studio booking or a workshop slot, send a message on LINE ahead of time so the team can confirm availability. The send-in service is also routed through the same LINE account, which is how the lab handles anything beyond a quick counter handoff.
