Minor Food's decision to acquire a 50.1% stake in GAGA Beverages positions this as more than a mall tea counter. The brand has a clear creative brief and sticks to it: bold toppings, customisable sweetness, and a visual identity aimed squarely at younger Siam Square shoppers. The Overload drink earns its name. For anyone who finds Bangkok-standard sweetness excessive, the adjustable level is a genuinely useful differentiator.

Tea counters in Bangkok malls are rarely short supply, but GAGA Attitude in a Cup frames the category differently. The concept launched in Thailand in 2018 under a stated creative brief: bold, fun, novel drinks for a generation that wants its cup to say something. That framing runs through the menu architecture, the in-store visual language, and the naming of individual drinks.

The Siam Square One branch occupies the LG floor of the mall. Take the escalator down from Siam Square and the counter appears on the right-hand side. Dine-in seating is available alongside takeaway, which makes it a usable pit stop rather than a pass-through grab. Hours are 10AM to 9:30PM across all seven days.

The signature item is the GAGA Overload: honey droplets, grass jelly, GAGA pearls, egg pudding and milk tea assembled into a layered construction that reads visually before it is tasted. The menu also covers Thai milk tea with a mousse foam layer and a range of non-tea drinks. Sweetness is adjustable at the counter. Guests who find Bangkok-standard levels heavy will find this worth specifying.

In 2022, Minor Food Group entered a joint venture to acquire 50.1% of GAGA Beverages (Thailand) Company Limited. At that point GAGA operated 29 stores in the country. The stated expansion strategy included international markets across Asia and the Middle East, with Minor Food providing the logistics and franchise infrastructure to support growth.

One practical note: the LG floor position at Siam Square One places this counter in one of central Bangkok's highest foot-traffic mall corridors. Arriving close to the 10AM opening gives more room to sit and work through a multi-topping order without the weekend crowd.
