Kaek Kao Kua is a small family-run vegan Thai noodle spot at 12 Sukhumvit Soi 27 in Khlong Tan Nuea. Run by chef Tania, a third-generation Thai cook, it seats only a handful of tables inside and out in a converted home setting. The short menu centres on plant-based noodle dishes with rich broths, including a khao soi in a medium-hot yellow curry and coconut base, finished with coconut ice cream that is not overly sweet. It opens from 10:30 to 19:30 daily except Thursday. Seating is limited, so arrive early.
