Luenrit, run by Chumchon Luenrit Company, is a restored block of more than two hundred century-old neoclassical shophouses off Yaowarat in Chakkrawat, Samphanthawong, the heart of Bangkok's Chinatown. Tenants banded together to save the buildings from demolition, renovating them into a living heritage quarter that won an ASA conservation award after reopening in 2022. The lanes hold homes, small shops, and cafes among the restored facades. It rewards a slow walk for architecture and old-town atmosphere; check which units are open, as it remains a residential community.
