สนามยิงธนู Recurve Archery Club
209 Ramkhamhaeng 21 Alley, Khwaeng Phlabphla, Wang Thonglang, Bangkok 10310
Start with the 450-baht beginner session before committing to anything longer. The three-minute shooting cycles feel short at first, but the rhythm is built for safety and the instructor checks form between rounds. Monthly packages make sense if you are coming twice a week, otherwise pay per session and rent gear as you go.
The range operates in timed cycles. You stand at the white line, shoot six arrows over roughly three minutes, then wait while everyone retrieves. The rhythm repeats. Target boards sit outdoors, and the setup runs this way for both walk-ins and monthly members.
The mandatory beginner course costs 450 baht and covers an hour of instruction, range time, and full equipment rental: recurve bow, arm guard, finger guard, and six arrows. The instructor demonstrates draw technique (string pulled to the chin, fingers anchored, arrow nocked correctly) before handing over the bow. This session is the required entry point whether you have touched a bow before or not. Experienced archers skip the beginner gate. Range access runs 100 baht per session, equipment rental adds 200 baht if you need it, and private coaching is available at 700 baht per hour. Monthly memberships cost 1,500 baht for range access, and the structured class program (two sessions per week, recurve or compound track) runs 4,500 baht per month.
The club is appointment-based, especially for first-time beginners. Call 098-636-6924 to reserve your slot. Walk-ins may find the beginner instructor already committed. Weekday sessions start at 11 AM, weekends at 10 AM, and the range stays open until 9 PM.
The venue suits anyone testing archery without investing in gear upfront. The beginner-to-monthly pathway is structured for progression, and the timed shooting format prevents chaos when multiple archers share the range. Recurve is the primary discipline, but compound courses also run on the same schedule.
