Sookdal Premium Korean BBQ - Bangkok
92/1-3 94 Rama I Rd, Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330
Go with the set menu rather than a la carte if it is your first visit. The free refills on japchae and the Korean fishcake soup add up to a meal in themselves, and the staff grilling for you keeps the pace right. Book via the Sookdal Bangkok LINE channel before Friday and Saturday nights, when the room runs full.
The Sookdal brand started in Seoul in 2014 and reached Bangkok as one stop in a wider international expansion. The Pathum Wan room sits at 92 Rama I Road inside the Stadium One complex, which puts it walking distance from the National Stadium end of Siam.
What lands on the grill is the reason to come. Wet-aged pork and various beef cuts arrive on a tray with each cut labelled clearly, the better and fattier pieces separated from the leaner shoulders and ribs. Staff take over the cooking. The dipping setup is traditional: coarse salt, sliced raw ginger, raw onion, and house-made sauce.
Every set menu comes with unlimited japchae, mixed salad, and Korean odeng fishcake soup. The refills are the move. Order one large set between two people, refill the sides twice, and the meal stretches comfortably without ordering a second protein.
The room is closer to a full-service Korean restaurant than a casual grill house. Booths, table grills with proper venting, attentive service rather than the order-and-cook-yourself standard.
The restaurant operates from 11 AM to 9 PM. Reservations go through the Sookdal Bangkok Facebook page or the LINE channel @sookdal, and weekend evening slots fill ahead of walk-ins.
