You arrive at the third floor of 87/2 Witthayu Road in Lumphini, a central Pathum Wan address that has housed Thailand's oldest continuously operating dental center since 1945. Thantakit was founded through a family that is now in its third generation of ownership, and the clinic describes itself as running on a family-business model in which patient relationships take precedence over volume.
The clinic holds two significant historical firsts in Thai dentistry. In 1973, Thantakit became the first dental provider in Thailand to introduce dental implant surgery. More recently, it became the first clinic in Thailand to use fully dynamic computer-aided navigation implant surgery, employing the NAVIDENT system from Canada for high-precision implant placement that reduces recovery time and improves long-term success rates.
