Axis & Spin Rooftop Restaurant & Bar (38th floor)
38th Floor 413 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110
This is the easiest premium rooftop to reach from Asoke. No cross-river logistics, no 30-minute taxi crawl, just the lift in The Continent and you are 38 floors above Sukhumvit. Order the SUN if you want to know what the bar is actually trying to do; the rest of the list takes its cue from the same nature-themed brief.
You step out of the lift on the 38th floor of The Continent Hotel and the whole Sukhumvit-Asoke corridor is below you. The hotel sits directly above Asoke BTS, which is the practical reason this rooftop works on a weeknight in a way the cross-river venues do not: you are eight minutes from any Sukhumvit dinner table and back at sea level inside two BTS stops.
The bar runs a nature-inspired cocktail program. The SUN is the line to start with, a warm build of blood orange, lime, and Campari that the venue uses to introduce the rest of the list. The kitchen handles curated sharing plates rather than a full dinner menu, so this is a drinks-first room with food calibrated to the cocktails, not the other way around.
Hours are 5 PM to 2 AM every day of the week. Sunset arrival lands you here before the skyline lights kick on; the room only gets better through the next two hours.
The Continent itself is one of the original Sukhumvit boutique hotels at the Asoke intersection, so the building has the stable hospitality bones a chain rooftop sometimes does not. Service runs at hotel standard.
Reserve for the 6 PM sunset window if you want a sightline-facing table. Smart casual is the right register; the dress code is not formal but flip-flops will read off in the room. Asoke BTS exit 5 lands you at the hotel lobby; Sukhumvit MRT is the same intersection one level down.
