Choose the morning slot if you want first pick at the market. The 1,300 baht rate includes the market tour, all ingredients, and access to 90+ online recipes after class, which makes the professional chef training programs worth investigating if you are staying longer.
You meet at BTS On Nut Exit 3 and head to the academy's kitchens on Sukhumvit Soi 75/1. The market tour happens first. Your instructor walks you through ingredient stalls, explains what to look for in galangal and kaffir lime, and you select produce for the dishes you will cook that session.
Back in the air-conditioned kitchen, you work at your own station. The academy has operated since 2010 and the curriculum is Worldchefs-approved. You are not watching a demo and copying. You pound curry paste in a mortar, balance fish sauce and palm sugar by taste, and plate what you have made. The instructor circulates in English, adjusting technique as you go.
Tourist classes run 1,300 baht per person and let you pick from 22 dishes across curries, soups, noodles, stir-fries, and salads. Massaman curry, pad thai, som tam, tom yum. Private classes open the menu to 130+ dishes and run 6,000 baht for the first student. The kitchen uses no MSG. Morning class runs 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM, afternoon 1:15 PM to 4:30 PM, six days a week. You eat everything you cook.
The academy also offers one-week to ten-week professional chef courses, fruit carving, and vegetarian-focused sessions. At the end of a tourist class you receive a certificate and login details for the online recipe database. The soi address needs a map app to locate. On Nut Exit 3 is the meeting landmark, about ten minutes east of Asoke, then you navigate the side street from there.
