Blueprint Livehouse opened on 23 March 2023 to give Bangkok a room whose identity centres on independent artists performing original work rather than covers. It sits on the second floor of Flow House BKK, the indoor surfing complex inside A Square on Sukhumvit 26.
The venue holds around 200 people, a deliberate scale. At that size the gap between the front row and the stage stays short, and the room is treated as a listening space where original material carries the night. That inverts the common Bangkok model where original acts play only in the gaps between cover sets.
The Flow House pairing is unusual on paper, an intimate stage above an indoor surf pool, but it gives the venue a distinct address in the Khlong Toei area, close to the busy Sukhumvit 26 corridor and its transit links.
For expats used to smaller European club culture, the scale is the whole point: close enough to see the players work, small enough that the focus stays on the music rather than the crowd.
