Cinema Oasis is an independent, non-profit movie house and gallery on Sukhumvit Soi 43 in Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, founded by filmmaker Ing Kanjanavit and photographer Manit Sriwanichpoom. The 48-seat room runs a Barco 2K projector and Dolby 5.1 sound inside a stone-latticed brutalist building, with a gallery on the second floor. Programming favours alternative, overlooked and censored films, with talks on freedom of expression. Tickets have run 160 THB for adults and 100 THB for students and seniors.
