EmQuartier
695 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110
EmQuartier earns its reputation as Sukhumvit's most visually ambitious mall. The three distinct zones, Helix, Waterfall, and Glass, each deliver a different atmosphere, from cascading green terraces to sleek floor-to-ceiling city views. Quartier CineArt's IMAX Laser screen and a rooftop bar lineup keep the place buzzing well beyond shopping hours.
EmQuartier opened in May 2015 as the second pillar of The Mall Group's EM District on Sukhumvit Road, joining Emporium to the north and the later EmSphere to the south. A direct covered link to BTS Phrom Phong station makes it one of Bangkok's most accessible luxury malls regardless of traffic conditions.
The mall is structured around three named zones. The Glass Quartier forms the ground-level retail spine, with floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the interior with natural light and framing Bangkok's skyline. The Waterfall Quartier takes its name from a towering five-storey indoor cascade at its centre, surrounded by fashion boutiques and casual dining. The Helix Quartier is the most photographed element: a continuous spiral walkway rising through six levels of dining terraces, wrapping around a 32,000-square-foot indoor sky garden that sits open to the air on the fifth floor.
Retail covers over 400 stores spanning international luxury labels, Thai designer brands, beauty counters, and lifestyle flagships. The dining offer across all three zones runs to more than 100 restaurants and cafes, ranging from fast-casual Thai staples to white-tablecloth destination restaurants commanding views across the Phrom Phong neighbourhood.
Quartier CineArt on the fourth floor operates eight halls including an IMAX with Laser screen, a ScreenX format auditorium, VIP suites, and a dedicated kids' cinema. The fifth-floor rooftop has become a destination in its own right, hosting open-air bar venues with 360-degree city panoramas.
EmQuartier sits between Emporium and EmSphere, and a walkway connects all three malls, allowing visitors to move through the entire EM District without descending to street level. The Phrom Phong residential neighbourhood, Benjasiri Park, and the Marriott Marquis hotel are all within easy walking distance.
