INDDEE is arguably the most complete Indian fine dining experience in Southeast Asia. The two Michelin stars alone would justify a reservation, but the wine program winning the Grand Prix of Asia at Star Wine List of the Year 2025 makes this a genuinely rare double. The tasting format demands commitment, both in time and budget, and that is exactly the right call for a meal this considered.
A restored villa on a quiet lane off Phloenchit is not where most people expect to find two Michelin stars and a globally awarded wine list. INDDEE earns both.\n\nThe building is over 100 years old, split across two floors, with a layout designed around multiple open kitchens. Arched openings frame the cooking stations so diners can watch the fire at every stage. An open fire oven anchors the ground level. On the walls, Indian fine art fills the gaps between cooking counters, including a piece titled "Divine Eye" by artist Prakash Ghadge. The main kitchen counter seats a handful of guests; reservations for those chairs disappear fast.\n\nThe menu runs as a 10-destination tasting format, moving region by region across India: Delhi, Gujarat, Mumbai, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and beyond. A fully separate 10-course vegetarian menu covers the same geography without duplicating dishes. Signature plates include "When the Portuguese Came," "Odd One Out," and "Gucchi Hunt," each a reference to specific regional histories and ingredients. Budget between 5,000 and 9,999 Baht per person before beverages.\n\nDrinks at INDDEE are not an afterthought. The wine list won Best Medium-Sized List in the World at the international final of Star Wine List of the Year, and separately took the Grand Prix of Asia for best overall list in the region. Pairings draw from traditional wines, Indian craft beers, sake, and alcohol-free options built to match the tasting menu's spice arcs.\n\nValet parking is available on-site. The venue opens at 5:30pm every day of the week and runs to 11:30pm, giving enough time to move through the full tasting sequence without feeling rushed. Gluten-free and vegan adjustments are available on request alongside the standard vegetarian path.
