Madame Tussauds BANGKOK
Siam Discovery, 989 Rama I Rd, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330
Madame Tussauds Bangkok earns its place in Siam Discovery with themed zones that go well beyond a standard wax museum. The Marvel 4D cinema adds real spectacle, the Spirit of Bangkok zone grounds the experience in local culture, and the sheer variety of figures, spanning sports legends, world leaders, film stars, and Thai icons, keeps the visit moving for all ages.
Madame Tussauds Bangkok occupies multiple floors of Siam Discovery, the design-focused retail complex directly connected to BTS Siam Station on Rama I Road. The attraction opened as one of the first Madame Tussauds outposts in Southeast Asia and has grown into one of Bangkok's most visited indoor experiences.
More than 90 figures are organized into distinct themed zones, each designed to encourage visitors to step in, pose, and interact rather than simply walk past. The Royal Room features figures of the Thai Royal Family, a deeply meaningful addition for Thai visitors that reflects the cultural significance of the monarchy. The Spirit of Bangkok zone celebrates the energy of the city itself through local celebrities, musicians, and cultural figures who have shaped Thai popular life.
International highlights span the full breadth of global fame. The Sports Zone brings together the likenesses of football, tennis, and boxing champions. The Music Zone positions visitors alongside major international recording artists. The Film Star Zone covers Hollywood and Asian cinema with equal attention, reflecting Bangkok's status as a meeting point between Eastern and Western pop culture.
The Marvel 4D Cinema is a standout feature. Visitors watch a short stereoscopic film featuring Marvel's superhero roster while the theatre delivers synchronized wind, water spray, and movement effects that accompany the on-screen action.
Behind-the-scenes exhibits explain the months-long production process behind each figure, from the initial subject sitting and measurements through the painstaking individual hair insertion, hand-painted skin, and custom costume fitting that gives each figure its uncanny realism.
Madame Tussauds Bangkok opens daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, with last admission at 7:00 pm. The BTS Siam Station direct link means there is no need to step outside regardless of weather.
