Set up the account before you need it - the first visit involves ID verification and insurance linking that's annoying to do when you're already sick. Bonus tip: their mental health video service has shorter waitlists than most Bangkok psychiatry clinics, and the consult quality is genuinely good.

Mordee is the Bangkok-headquartered telehealth service that has quietly become the default medical platform for the city's English-speaking professional class. Based out of the 17th floor of Asoke Towers, a two-minute walk from BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit, the service combines a working physical clinic with a full telemedicine layer.

The workflow is simple: book a video consult through the app (English available), see a Thai-licensed physician within 30 minutes for most general complaints, get a digital prescription if needed, and have medication delivered the same day inside central Bangkok. For anything that needs an in-person follow-up - labs, imaging, vaccinations, women's health, dermatology - you come into the Asoke clinic for a scheduled slot.

Mordee's specialist network includes internal medicine, dermatology, mental health, pediatrics, and travel medicine. Mental health video sessions are bookable directly without a GP referral - useful for expats who don't yet have a local primary care relationship. International health insurance is accepted from most major providers; cash and Thai PromptPay are also options.

What makes this work for busy people: appointment slots run from 9 AM through 6 PM weekdays, the app remembers your medical history across visits, and prescription refills can be requested without re-booking a full consult. The physical clinic is small but well-equipped - not a hospital, but more than enough for primary and urgent-but-non-emergency care.

For anything serious or emergent, this is not the right service - go to BNH, Bumrungrad, or Samitivej. For everything else, it's the easiest medical experience in Bangkok.
