You walk into a Japanese izakaya on Soi 39 where the chicken wings have been the signature draw since at least 2015, when Bangkok food media first started covering this branch. Sekai no Yamachan is a Nagoya export, and the Bangkok outpost at The Manor carries the same maboroshino tebasaki recipe that built the chain's reputation back in its home city in Japan. The wings arrive fried and built to pair with cold beer rather than stand alone as a polite appetizer. Order them first. The rest of the menu runs izakaya standard: small plates built for sharing and reordering, sake available by the bottle or glass, cold draft beer starting at 119 baht, and enough dish variety to cover a full table if you are planning to settle in for multiple rounds and a slow evening rather than a quick one-plate stop.
