Sweets Cottage Academy
46 28 Charoen Rat Rd, Bang Khlo, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok 10120
Start with the half-day beginner class before committing to the 21-day program. The 230,000 THB professional course is built for people opening a bakery, not hobbyists. Private one-to-one instruction means you work at your own pace, and the translator fee (1,500 THB per half-day) is worth it if your Thai is limited.
You book a time slot. A translator meets you at the door. The format is one-to-one, so you have a dedicated instructor for the full session. Over 2,500 students have trained here since 2012, and the focus is French pastry technique.
The flagship 21-day Professional Chef Training program costs 230,000 THB and teaches 50 menus from basic cakes through advanced French pastry work, laminated doughs, chocolate, and barista coffee. That price includes a chef uniform, all course materials, pastry theory, and a dedicated translator for three weeks. The curriculum is built for people starting a bakery business, with an emphasis on cost-effective, market-ready recipes rather than decorative showpieces. Private one-to-one classes offer a more flexible alternative. You choose between 2 and 5 desserts per day from over 200 available courses spanning cakes, breads, and coffee technique. Daily rates run from 5,000 to 15,000 THB depending on what you select, and the translator fee is billed separately at 1,500 THB for a half day or 2,200 THB full-day. For absolute beginners, the half-day starter courses (9,999 THB plus translator) cover ingredient theory and oven selection, then walk you through two basic recipes.
The school operates from Charoen Rat Road in Bang Kho Laem, 9AM to 6PM daily. Factor translator fees into your budget for every session if you are an international student. The fees add up quickly across multiple days.
