Order the mango sticky rice even if you do not normally order dessert. The kitchen treats it as a signature, not a finisher. Khao soi is the second move, and the green curry holds up in vegetarian form. The room is small, so come in the off-hours if you want a quiet table.

Samsen 4 Alley is one of those Banglamphu side sois that does not get much foot traffic from the Khaosan strip a few blocks over. Try Me sits at number 170, running a Thai kitchen that builds every classic in both a meat version and a vegetarian one.

The menu reads short and direct. Vegetable spring rolls. Khao soi with the option of chicken or a vegetarian base. Green curry, pad Thai, and the mango sticky rice the kitchen treats as a signature finish.

You order, the food arrives quickly, and the bill stays small. This is a working-day kitchen rather than a destination, and the room is built accordingly: a handful of tables, simple plating, no aspirational design language.

What matters is the consistency. Travellers who pass through Banglamphu for one night usually want one solid Thai meal before they move on, and Try Me delivers that meal without making you decide between vegetarian and not. A mixed table of vegetarians and meat-eaters can order from the same menu and both come away fed.

Cash and digital both work at the counter. Open 10 AM to 10 PM every day, so it covers a late breakfast through to a final-night dinner. The Samsen address means a 10-minute walk from the Khaosan main strip and roughly the same from Wat Bowonniwet. Order three dishes for two people, add the mango sticky rice, and the bill will surprise you on the low side.
