You walk into a room where a West Highland Terrier named Nana is already sprawled across the floor, unbothered by the air conditioning hum. Dog in Town runs 9 dogs across 7 breeds. All of them carry BTS station names, and the roster includes Welsh Corgi Pembrokes, a Pug, a Shiba Inu, a Husky, a Welsh Terrier, an Alaskan Malamute, and a Rough Collie. The indoor space is lined with low sofas that put you at dog height, and the staff keep lint rollers and hand-washing stations within reach.
Entry is 350 baht per person, which includes one drink and unlimited time. You can move between the air-conditioned lounge and the outdoor artificial-lawn zone using shared slippers the cafe provides. The outdoor section holds water bowls with ice cubes and a pet tortoise that ignores the chaos. Dog treats run 100 baht per pack if you want to accelerate the bonding process, and the staff will help frame photos when the dogs cooperate.
This is the only Bangkok dog cafe that offers both indoor and outdoor interaction zones. Most others confine play to a single air-conditioned box. The trade here is space. The Ekkamai branch is smaller than the Ari original and skips the separate cafe building. What it keeps is the welfare-first policy: staff rotate dogs to back rooms for rest instead of keeping all 9 on the floor at once. You will not meet every dog in one visit, and that is the point.
The location sits on Ekkamai Soi 6, a 10-to-15-minute walk from BTS Ekkamai. The soi is residential and quiet. If you arrive by car, street parking fills quickly after 6 PM. The cafe runs 11 AM to 8 PM daily, and the dogs are most active in the late-morning window before the afternoon heat settles in. Card payments only.
