Roast @Central World
4/5 ห้องเลขที่ 101 ชั้นที่ 1, Ratchadamri Rd, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330
Come here when you want Roast's brunch without the Thonglor commute. The kitchen runs the same all-day menu as the flagship, so weekday late mornings inside CentralwOrld are the calmest version of the experience. Order one of the in-house roasted coffees alongside the brunch plate; the bean program is the part the chain takes most seriously.
Step off the escalator on the first floor of CentralwOrld and Roast sits along the Ratchadamri-facing side of the mall, in unit 4/5 room 101. The room is sized for daytime mall traffic, with the open kitchen visible from most tables, the same all-day cafe layout the brand has carried across all four Bangkok branches.
Varatt Vichit-Vadakan opened the first Roast in 2011 at Seen Space in Thonglor, with his sister Vicharee as co-founder. Five years later the siblings opened theCOMMONS Thonglor in 2016, with Roast as the anchor tenant of that curated food strip. The two operations now sit inside Kinnest Group, which has expanded to include sister brands Ocken and Roots Coffee under the same group structure.
The menu reads brunch-first across all four branches. Breakfast plates, eggs, pancakes, and sandwich builds hold the daytime, then a rotating dinner section through the evening. The coffee program is the technical core: Roast roasts in-house, and the bean lineup overlaps with sister-brand Roots Coffee, the specialty roaster the same group operates out of theCOMMONS.
This branch is on Ratchadamri Road inside CentralwOrld, so the easiest BTS approach is Chit Lom and then through the elevated walkway directly into the mall. Skip street-level parking; the mall's basement car park is the only realistic option.
For anyone working from a hotel in the Pathum Wan area, this is the closest Roast branch and the easiest one to land in mid-week without a booking.
