This is Bangkok's most affordable serious swim if you are based east of Asok. The pools are built for national training squads, so you get proper 50-meter lanes at 50 baht per visit. Best for lap swimmers who want distance over atmosphere.

You walk into a working sports facility built for training, not leisure. The building houses two 50-meter indoor pools under one roof, both maintained for competitive swimming. The Sports Authority of Thailand runs the complex, and the lanes are the same ones national swim squads use when they are not racing. Entry costs 50 baht. You pay at the counter, change, and swim. The facility offers swimming instruction for those building technique or learning from scratch. The pools are indoors, chlorinated, and functional. There is a separate diving pool with platforms, though access depends on training schedules.

The complex sits on Ramkhamhaeng 24, deeper into Hua Mak than most expats venture. The area surrounds Ramkhamhaeng University, so the neighborhood runs more Thai-campus than international-Bangkok. Wheelchair-accessible parking is available on site.

Monday hours start at 1 PM instead of the 6:30 AM open the rest of the week. If you swim before work, plan around this. Tuesday through Sunday the facility opens at 6:30 AM and closes at 8:30 PM, giving you morning lanes or evening slots depending on your schedule.

This is the least expensive full-length public pool in Bangkok. You will not find smoothies, sun loungers, or rooftop views. You will find lane markers, clean water, and 50 meters of uninterrupted distance every time you push off the wall.
