Sushi Sora occupies the ground floor of Sofitel So Bangkok on North Sathorn Road in Bang Rak, an intimate twelve-seat counter built around Edomae-style omakase. Head chef Yamakawa brings more than thirty years of experience, shaping each course around what is in season and serving from behind a room hung with wavy white curtains that echo the name, which means sky in Kanji. Several omakase tiers are offered, with the Sora course running around 4,800 THB plus taxes. Reservations are essential given the limited seating.
