This is Bangkok's accessible Olympic-standard infrastructure, not a hotel amenity. The diving platforms draw the serious freedivers and the 50-meter lanes stay open for lap swimmers who want length without the country-club price tag. Come for the space, not the atmosphere.

You step off the pool deck and the 50-meter competition pool stretches in front of you, ten lanes wide and two meters deep throughout. The facility is operated by Thailand's Department of Physical Education and reopened in December 2019 after renovations. The second pool is a 25-meter diving basin, five meters deep, with platforms at one, three, five, 7.5, and ten meters.

Admission is ฿100 per visit or ฿1,000 for an annual membership. The pool opens at 3 PM on weekdays and runs until 7:30 PM, so morning lap sessions are not an option Monday through Friday. Weekends add a 9 AM to noon slot before the afternoon session. Swimming classes are available for members and the general public, with weekday and weekend schedules.

The location puts you a four-minute walk from National Stadium BTS and next door to MBK Center on Rama 1 Road in the Wang Mai sub-district. The facility is wheelchair-accessible, with adapted entry points and car park spaces. Both the pool deck and the changing rooms are maintained to a clean standard. The crowd stays light most of the week, particularly on weekday afternoons when the lap lanes open up. Freedivers and platform divers use the deep pool under supervised sessions, and lane etiquette follows international protocols.

The setting is functional government sports infrastructure. There is no resort landscaping, no poolside bar, no lounge chairs under palms. What you get is Olympic-length water, proper depth for diving training, and central Bangkok access at a fraction of hotel pool day-pass rates. Lockers and showers are on-site.
