The train car aesthetic commits fully. Theater-in-the-round seating wraps the dance floor, the lighting stays low, and the art deco styling holds through the cocktail-to-club shift. Order the Goddess of Love (฿790, Lillet and rose tea with lychee foam) before the music gets louder. The ฿50,000 Throne of Chaos is real and people actually do it.

You step off the elevator on the third floor of Marché Thonglor and the door reads like a first-class train carriage pulled from a dystopian future. Echelon opened in June 2023, closed in March 2025, and came back on September 10, 2025 with the same Snowpiercer blueprint and a few new stunts.

The room splits its evening into two modes. From 6pm it runs as a cocktail bar: plush red upholstery, sleek silver finishes, art deco styling, low lighting. The Chemical X (gin, midori, tonic) sits at ฿390. The Goddess of Love climbs to ฿790 for Lillet, Cointreau, rose tea topped with lychee foam and garnished with a rose. It photographs well before the lights drop further. After 10:30pm the DJ booth takes command, the dance floor opens in the center, and the seating wraps the space in theater-in-the-round style so the crowd watches itself as much as the booth.

The neon above the bar announces 'Too alien for Earth, too human for outer space.' That phrase captures the aesthetic.

If you spend ฿50,000 in one night, the staff will carry you around the club in a golden sedan chair called the Throne of Chaos. You need to weigh under 60 kilograms. People do this.

Groups of four women get a complimentary bottle of champagne on ladies' night, and the club rotates special event programming beyond that. The music runs Hip-Hop and Trap with EDM rotation depending on the night. The dress code holds at smart casual, which means no flip-flops and no sportswear, though enforcement varies. Reservations go through the phone line at 092-535-6558 or the Instagram handle.

Marché Thonglor runs both free and paid parking lots, and the 60,000-square-meter complex operates 24 hours, so you can eat before or after without leaving the building.
