The wellness floor and the restaurant concentration on level two and lower ground are where most visitors direct their time. Start with the Erawan Tea Room on two if you want the heritage anchor.
You walk off the Chit Lom skywalk and step directly into a marble-floored lobby corridor that feels quieter than the intersection outside. The mall replaced the Sogo Department Store in 2005 and occupies 13,000 square metres across five levels at the north end of the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel building, designed by architect Rangsan Torsuwan with Thai architectural elements woven through the postmodern structure. The footprint is compact by Bangkok mega-mall standards, and the layout steers toward dining and wellness rather than fashion retail.
The second floor anchors the dining concentration: Erawan Tea Room, Jharokha, Chisana Nami, and Man Ho Bistro sit in a row along the interior corridor. The lower ground level runs a second restaurant bank with Shabu Nashi, Nara, Den Kushi Flori, Suki Masa, Italasia, and El Gaucho, each operating independently with separate entrances from the basement hall. The wellness floor houses Breathe Pilates, Entrio Clinic, Longa Heart Health Medical Center, First Fertility, and Soma Health, a concentration that draws a medical-tourism and expat-health clientele throughout the week.
The mall connects via covered skywalk not only to Chit Lom station but also to neighboring complexes throughout the Ratchaprasong cluster, so you can move between Central World, Gaysorn, and Amarin Plaza without descending to street level.
