Lead with the drip coffee. The roasting happens on-site so the beans are as fresh as you get in this part of town, and the Relieve espresso build (yuzu, cinnamon, caramel) shows the kitchen knows how to layer acidity without sweetness taking over. The gallery zone is the move if you brought a laptop. Designed by the founder's brother, an architect, and it shows in how much air the space holds for its footprint.
The coffee roaster sits close enough to the bar that you register the beans before you see the menu. Kim Khoomsiripit converted a neighborhood rice shop into this Saphan Khwai roastery, and his architect brother handled the redesign to maximize space without tightness.
The iced drip leans on single-origin lots, including a Panama Volcan Baru Apollo that rotates through depending on the roast schedule. Relieve, one of the espresso builds, combines homemade cinnamon syrup with yuzu, caramel, and lemon for a drink that reads complex on paper and tastes cleaner than the ingredient list suggests. The pastry case runs to signature gelatin cakes with lychee filling and a lemoncello cheesecake that balances citrus against cream.
You are here for the coffee first. The space splits into two zones: an interior section near the barista counter where the roasting gear and the pouring process are visible, and an outer gallery area that insulates better against street noise and gives you room to settle in with a laptop or a book or just to sit away from the workflow. Both zones get natural light, and the whole setup skews minimal in palette and furniture, running to white and gray with enough plant cover to soften the industrial edges without cluttering sightlines or counter space. The design keeps the original building pillars as structural anchors.
Dogs are welcome inside, a rare policy for a working roastery. Parking is paid only, street or lot. The hours run 8AM to 5PM every day. If you live or work in the Ari-Saphan Khwai corridor or near Phaya Thai, this is your closest roastery option with beans roasted and poured in the same room.
