Metro Mall

The 2018 redesign turned this into what the operator calls the most beautiful Metro Mall branch in the network. The black-and-white palette with Chatuchak Park-inspired line graphics makes it feel less generic than the average transit retail corridor. The event space pulls double duty for commuter retail and community programming.
You step off the MRT at Chatuchak Park and the mall is already around you. Metro Mall sits inside the station itself, 2,700 square meters of retail space woven into the underground transit hub. It is one of nine Metro Mall branches threaded through Bangkok's MRT network, but the operator singles this one out as the most beautiful in the system.
The 2018 redesign by Panupong Toumsiri brought in a black-and-white color scheme with crisp white illumination. Custom line graphics run through the corridors, pulling motifs from Chatuchak Park: fence patterns, flora, marketplace imagery, visual nods to Bangkok heat. The result reads modern and spacious where older MRT retail zones can feel compressed.
The layout prioritizes dining and café options. A large event space handles rotating programming and pop-up activations. Accessibility is full: wheelchair-accessible entrance, toilets, and car park. Payment runs card, NFC, and cash.
Hours stretch longer than most neighborhood malls. Weekdays close at 9 PM, weekends at 8 PM. The station link means foot traffic starts early and stays consistent through evening commute. If you are already passing through Chatuchak Park MRT, the mall functions as a functional grab-and-go retail layer. The event space books out for markets and brand activations; check the operator's schedule if you want to catch something beyond the permanent tenant mix.
