Semolina was opened by the team behind Cast Iron Burgerhaus as a dedicated fresh-pasta and wine concept in the Ari neighbourhood. Every pasta shape is matched to its sauce - reginette for Pink Sauce Vodka (265 baht), gemelli for Truffle Cream (265 baht), tagliatelle for Vongole (255 baht). A weekday lunch set runs 199 baht. The wine list covers red, white, and rose pours alongside draft beer. A 10 percent service charge applies.

Semolina takes its name and its ingredient directly from the coarse-ground durum wheat flour used to make every pasta shape served in its kitchen. Located inside the Sanannapha project on Ari Soi 1, Phaya Thai, the restaurant was created by the team behind Cast Iron Burgerhaus with a mandate to make homemade Italian pasta the focus of an Italian-leaning all-day venue that opens into a wine bar by evening.

The pasta programme pairs each shape with a sauce calculated to match its texture. Pink Sauce Vodka (265 baht) uses reginette, a wavy-edged ribbon pasta, tossed with Italian sausage in a vodka tomato cream sauce finished with Parmesan. Truffle Cream (265 baht) uses gemelli, a short spiral, in a black squid ink garlic and truffle cream sauce with champignon mushrooms and Parmesan. Vongole (255 baht) uses tagliatelle, a long flat ribbon, with clams, white wine, and chilli oil. Ikura Mentaiko is another available pasta build. A Truffle Cream variation with gemelli is also on the menu.

Starters include Crunchy Cauliflower (215 baht), battered cauliflower with romesco sauce, lemon, and Parmesan, and Caesar Salad (175 baht). The main course section extends to a Flank Steak (795 baht), a 250g medium-grilled beef served with mashed potato and smoked chimichurri sauce.

The wine list pairs with the pasta menu and includes draft beer and soft drinks. A weekday lunch set is available Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 15:00, priced at 199 baht, with an optional add-on of iced tea and salad for 49 baht more.

The full dining schedule runs 11:00 to 14:30 and 17:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday, with similar split hours on weekends. Phone reservations are recommended. A 10 percent service charge is added to bills. The BTS Ari station is the nearest transit point, with the Sanannapha courtyard entrance set slightly back from street level.
