You step off Sukhumvit 45 into a Hollywood vision of a Chinese brothel filtered through Australian designer Ashley Sutton's theatrical lens. Red lanterns drop from the ceiling in clusters. Intricate wrought iron patternwork mimics a busy streetscape, and dragon motifs wrap structural columns. The layout stretches vertically across four floors and six split levels, so the venue reads less like a single room and more like a layered set with hidden seating alcoves, private balconies, and passageways that connect the bars to the mezzanines.
Two bars anchor the downstairs zone. The dance floor sits center, backed by a stage that hosts musical and theatrical performances throughout the week. An overhanging balcony gives you a sight line to the floor below, and the split-level design means you can move between intimate corner tables and the main performance space without crossing the same path twice. The neo-chinoiserie decor holds the entire aesthetic together without tipping into theme-park pastiche.
Programming leans toward international and local acts booked on rotation. Weekdays run quieter, positioning the venue as an after-dinner stop with cocktails and live music. Weekends shift the energy toward club nights, often themed, occasionally calling for dress-up. The sound system and stage setup support everything from burlesque routines to DJ sets, so the vibe changes depending on what's booked that week.
