Swimming Kids Sukhumvit
404 Sukhumvit 50 Aly, Phra Khanong, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10260
Start with the Small or Smile classes if your child is under two. The progression system is granular enough that no one gets rushed through fundamentals, and the instructor-to-student ratio keeps attention focused. Weekly video clips go to parents after each session, useful for tracking improvement or confirming the ฿1,000 registration fee was worthwhile.
Swimming Kids Sukhumvit runs seven class levels that span ages 4 months to 12 years, with each stage targeting a specific developmental window and skill set. The progression starts with Small for 4-to-12-month babies, then Smile (1 to 1.6 years), Smart (1.6 to 2 years), Strong (2 to 2.9 years), Pre-Swim (2.9 to 3 years), Swim (3 to 6 years), and Stroke for 4-to-12-year-olds working on stroke mechanics. The curriculum is certified by Thailand's Ministry of Education and leading Australian swim institutes, which means the progression structure follows standardized benchmarks and transfers cleanly if your family moves cities or switches to another Swimming Kids location within the national network.
You walk in 400 meters from BTS On Nut and the pool room is warm before you reach the water. The pool itself is indoor saltwater maintained to world-standard temperature for infant and toddler comfort, and the instructor is already submerged waiting for your child when you arrive. Classes build on breath control, floating fundamentals, and water safety, with a typical ratio of one instructor per two students to keep attention focused and progression individualized.
Each term runs 10 weeks with 10 sessions total, priced between ฿8,500 and ฿9,900 depending on age group. Registration costs ฿1,000.
Parents receive weekly video clips of each class session, useful for tracking whether your child is genuinely floating or just splashing with instructor support. The registration fee is non-refundable, so lock in your 10-week schedule availability before committing to a term.
