Yoga in Bangkok
Our directory lists 84 venues in Bangkok that run yoga classes, from dedicated studios to yoga programs inside larger fitness clubs and hotels. The list above is ranked by review count, and it is not curated or paid.
Where the studios are
Watthana district carries the largest share, covering the Sukhumvit stretch from Phrom Phong through Thong Lo and Ekkamai. Khlong Toei and Bang Rak follow, and Yan Nawa, Sathon, Lat Phrao, Phaya Thai, and Chatuchak each hold a handful. That spread means most central neighborhoods have something within a short BTS or MRT ride, but the density is clearly in the Sukhumvit corridor.
Choosing a studio
- Style. Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, and hot yoga demand very different things from your body. A studio's timetable tells you more than its name does.
- Room conditions. Hot yoga rooms are heated deliberately; ordinary rooms in Bangkok can still run warm. If heat is a problem for you, check whether the practice room is air-conditioned.
- Class size and level. Mixed-level drop-ins are the norm. If you are new, look for a studio that runs an explicit beginner track rather than assuming the general class will slow down.
- Location. Traffic decides whether you actually go. A studio you can walk to from home or the office beats a better-known one across the city.
Ratings and review counts on each listing come from public listing data and reflect what visitors reported. We do not verify or adjust them.
Frequently asked questions
Which Bangkok areas have the most yoga studios?
Watthana holds the most studios in our directory, covering the Sukhumvit corridor around Phrom Phong, Thong Lo, and Ekkamai. Khlong Toei and Bang Rak follow, with smaller counts in Yan Nawa, Sathon, Lat Phrao, Phaya Thai, and Chatuchak.
Can I drop in to a yoga class without a membership?
Many Bangkok studios sell single classes alongside multi-class packs, and hotel and gym-based programs often admit non-members for a walk-in fee. Policies differ by venue and change often, so confirm with the studio before you travel across town.
Are classes taught in English?
English-language classes are widely available, especially in the Sukhumvit and Silom areas where the studio scene is heavily international. Thai-language and bilingual classes are common too. The teaching language depends on the instructor on that slot, so check the timetable.
Why do some general gyms appear in this list?
The list is built from the yoga programming a venue advertises, not only from studios that do nothing else. Some full-service gyms run a real yoga timetable and appear for that reason. Open the venue page to see what the operator actually offers.
