Broccoli Revolution Sukhumvit 49
899 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110
Broccoli Revolution built its reputation on the Broccoli Quinoa Charcoal Burger, prepping around 100 servings daily from opening, and the kitchen has held that standard since 2015. Owner Naya Ehrlich-Adam uses 100 percent organic cold-pressed juices with 90 percent locally sourced produce. A social mission sits alongside the food: the restaurant has worked to employ disadvantaged workers and partners with Theera, an enterprise supporting children with special needs, for its bakery supply.
You walk into Broccoli Revolution at 899 Sukhumvit Road and land in a space that has been running this plant-based concept since 2015, one of the earliest and most sustained vegan-forward restaurants in Bangkok's Sukhumvit corridor. Founder Naya Ehrlich-Adam opened this location after establishing the Monsoon Restaurant & Bar in Yangon, Myanmar and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, bringing that regional fluency into a menu that draws from Italian, South American, Thai, Burmese and Vietnamese food traditions. The Broccoli Quinoa Charcoal Burger is the signature: a vegan patty built from broccoli and quinoa, served in charcoal buns, with the kitchen producing around 100 servings per day since the early weeks of operation. The restaurant also features a Tea Leaves Salad drawn from Burmese cuisine, sandwiches with cashew cheese, and Thai dishes given a plant-based treatment. Cold-pressed organic juices are 100 percent organic with 90 percent of the fruits and vegetables sourced from local Thai farms. The restaurant employs a supervisor with a degree in agriculture to maintain produce standards. Homemade soy ice cream and banoffee pie are the desserts built for after a main course, with some ice cream flavours requiring ten minutes of thaw time before serving. Organic wines are available in a small but considered selection. The social mission is factual and ongoing. Broccoli Revolution partners with Theera, a social enterprise working with children with special needs, for bakery supply. Owner Saks has also worked on employment pathways for migrant workers in the Bangkok food and beverage industry. The restaurant expanded to Central Embassy and Charoen Krung, and delivers daily from 8am to 8:30pm through major apps from the Sukhumvit 49 location. The Gluten-free Eggplant Lasagna and Veggie Gyoza both appear as menu highlights on reservation platforms.
