Order the Original Roast Breakfast. At 420 baht it is the dish the chain built its reputation around, and it is the order that lets you taste why Roast went from one cafe to four. If you are deciding between this branch and the Sathon original, EmQuartier wins on convenience alone: escalator up from the BTS, you are at the table in ten minutes.

You ride the escalator up into the Helix wing of EmQuartier and Roast opens out in front of you on the first level. The branch is one of four Roast locations in Bangkok, alongside Sathon, Thonglor, and centralwOrld, and the kitchen runs the same brunch-forward menu that built the name.

The Original Roast Breakfast at 420 baht is the dish to order if it is your first visit. The rest of the brunch core sits around it: Turkish Egg at 240, Eggs Benedict at 360, Smashed Avocado at 380 for the vegetarian table, and Steak & Eggs at 950 for a larger lunch. Prices exclude 10 percent service and VAT, so factor that in before the bill lands.

The location is the practical advantage. EmQuartier connects directly to Phrom Phong BTS Exit 1, which makes Roast one of the few proper brunch dining rooms in this stretch of Sukhumvit that you can reach without a taxi at all. The Helix design pulls daylight down through the building, so the cafe gets natural light from the mall's open atrium even though it sits inside the structure.

A heads-up on weekends: this is mall brunch on Sukhumvit. The Saturday and Sunday rush is real, and the wait without a booking gets long after 11AM. Arrive at opening or push to a late-afternoon coffee instead.

Come for the Original Breakfast, come on a weekday if your schedule allows, and add the Turkish Egg as a side to share at the table. The chain knows what it does well and the EmQuartier branch is the easiest door to walk through to find out.
