Treat ThaiWan as a half-day visit, not a quick coffee stop. Order the iced brown sugar milk tea and a slice of chiffon cake, then walk the skywalk before you sit down. Bring kids if you have them; the peacocks and coloring activities turn this into a Sunday morning that justifies the drive out to Pridi.

ThaiWan-Thai灣 sits on Soi Pridi Banomyong 26 in Khlong Tan Nuea, a few turns off the main road and a long step away from the standard Sukhumvit cafe loop. The concept is a fusion of Thai and Taiwanese cultures, and the design carries it through with intent: lamps assembled from old cart parts hang above the tables, and the brick walls are built from Thai laterite, the same red-orange stone used in older Thai construction.

The menu is built on Taiwanese-style tea and coffee. Iced brown sugar milk tea and chiffon cakes are the signatures, and the wider menu runs deep enough to hold a group ordering across drinks and desserts. Taiwanese products are set out for sale alongside the drink counter, and the shop runs in-house activities including coloring and making postcards.

The property is its own attraction. A tree house, a wooden bridge and a skywalk run through the space, and a small zoo holds peacocks. The combination means you sit, then walk, then sit again, which changes what an afternoon at a cafe looks like.

Hours run Tuesday to Thursday 8:30 AM to 6 PM, and Friday to Sunday 8:30 AM to 10 PM, closed Monday. The Friday-to-Sunday late close turns the late afternoon into a usable window with the lights on across the wooden bridge.

Come with a friend who likes to walk and photograph as much as drink, give yourself two hours, and leave with a Taiwanese product from the shelf as a souvenir of the visit.
