THE COFFEE CLUB - Mode Sathorn
144 N Sathon Rd, Si Lom, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500
Order an all-day breakfast and use it as your Surasak waiting room before a meeting in the Embassy district. Worth the seat for the consistency, not for invention. If you are staying at Mode and want something predictable before a 9 AM, this is the smartest fifteen-minute walk-up in the building.
You step out of Surasak BTS, cross North Sathorn, and the cafe sits on the ground floor of Mode Sathorn Hotel facing the street. Sliding glass, hotel-lobby calm, a counter setup that processes a heavy morning rush without raising volume on either side of the room.
The Coffee Club is an Australian all-day cafe chain that runs eight menu categories on its core list: Breakfast and Brunch, Coffee, Non-Coffee Drinks, Healthy and Plant-Based, Burgers and Lunch Faves, Local Faves, Salads, and Main Meals and Pastas. The chef team refreshes the menu annually around new ingredient sourcing, so the breakfast you ordered last March is not necessarily on the board next March.
The Mode Sathorn site is one of dozens across Bangkok and reads more business-traveller than weekend brunch. Hotel guests fold in for the included breakfast window; office regulars from the Embassy district drift in mid-morning. Loyalty runs through a free rewards app at one point per 25 baht spent, which is worth setting up before the second visit.
The location is the differentiator. Mode Sathorn is a 38-storey hotel in the Embassy district with 201 rooms, and the cafe is directly across from Surasak station, which makes it one of the easiest BTS-side breakfasts on the Silom Line between Saphan Taksin and Chong Nonsi.
Pair the all-day breakfast with the Cloud or a flat white, save the points, and walk out into Sathorn five minutes before the meeting starts.
